Thank You Thursday: MHD Comes Full Circle

Hey everyone. The crew of the Motorhome Diaries is back in the Washington D.C area. We have been here about a week and will be departing for Baltimore Saturday afternoon. This is my first time visiting D.C. so it has been great to meet many of the people behind the freedom movement in DC. And I know that Pete and Jason were happy to visit old friends as well.
For the first time since I had started traveling with the MHD, the crew went their separate ways for most of the week and were together only when filming or socializing. Allison Gibbs and her roommates were kind enough to have Pete and I stay there while Jeff Frazee and the guys at the Young Americans for Liberty house took Jason in, along with MARV. We really appreciate you allowing us to crash at your pads.
It was also nice to be in homes without wheels so that we could use wifi and electricity to hammer out the work. We released these video/blog posts and more: The Ransacking of MARV, Pete speaking at the DC meetup, Transformation of MARV, an interview with John Sophocleus, an AL resident who was threatened with eminent domain and an interview with David Boaz of the Cato Institute. So all in all its been a great week thanks to some great people.
We would like to thank the following people who gave us gas money at our DC meetup and those who donated via PalPay this week:
- Joshua Borton from Famington, MN who donated $25
- David Chastain from Acworth, GA who donated $25
- Greg Kerr from Highland Heights, OH who donated $10
- Mike Read from Phoenix, AZ who donated $10
- Justin Steigerwalt from Atlanta, GA who donated $30
- Molly Valentin from Pittsburg, PA who donated $5
- Tim Schumann from Arlington, VA who donated $20
- Eli Goldstein from Monsey, NY who subcribed to donate $10/month
- In addition we also like to thank the people who handed us cash at the D.C. meet up
Thanks again to all of you that keep us rolling. We preciatcha!
