LAWRENCE, KS – About a month ago while in Louisville, KY we had the chance to interview Tim and Sheri Quinn. They are constitutionalists and Ron & Rand Paul supporters who believe in limited government. They also have the belief that the responsibility to raise and educate their children is theirs. They don’t ask for a government provided school or that an agenda be handed to them from some State School Board.
They raise and educate their daughters with a educational and life philosophy program called unschooling. They discuss this in length in the video but basically unschooling is to involved your kids in your everyday life. Showing them how the world works through everyday interactions and examples. It was a pleasure to meet this couple, despite what others would think, homeschooled and/or unschooled children are extremely well rounded and very inspiring to me. I hope others will adopt these methods as well.
